User groups (Legacy)

Why user groups

When your workspaces reaches a significant number of users and processes, it becomes hard to manage access rights.
User groups give a central place to manage access rights of a large number of processes.

How to create a user group

Accessing the 'User Groups' Panel
  • First navigate to the 'Admin' panel of your workspace.
  • From the 'Admin' panel, access the 'User Groups' panel.

Creating a new group name

  1. Click 'Create New Group'. 

  2. Enter the user group name.

  3. Click 'OK' to create your new user group.

  1. You should now see the new user group added to your list of workspace user groups.


How to add / manage users of a group

  • Click 'Add Users' and select or remove the users you want to include in the user group.
  • Once you have selected all required users, click 'Close' to complete the creation of the user group.


How to assign groups to a process

Groups are assigned the same way as individual access rights on a process. When selecting the "restricted" option, user groups can be selected.
